Vancouver Iranian Professionals (VIP) is a non-profit networking community connecting Iranian professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners across Metro Vancouver. Who Can Join
VIP welcomes Iranian professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners in Metro Vancouver who are serious about building genuine, long-term relationships. To keep the network focused and free of internal competition, VIP follows a one-seat-per-profession model — each profession is represented by a single member, so you become the go-to connection in your field.
Membership at a Glance
- Annual membership: CAD $450 per year.
- Monthly meetings: held at Gilaneh Restaurant in North Vancouver; dates and agendas are announced in advance.
- Participation: members are expected to attend at least 8 of 11 meetings, in person or through a designated representative.
- Exclusivity: one seat per profession keeps the community collaborative, not competitive.
How to Become a Member
The path to membership is simple and built on getting to know one another first:
- Attend as a guest. Ask one of VIP members to register you as a guest and join an upcoming monthly meeting to experience the community firsthand.
- Visit twice. Guests attend a minimum of two meetings before becoming eligible for membership.
- Apply. Once your profession’s seat is open and you are ready to commit, complete a short membership application.
- Welcome aboard. Gain full access to members’ meetings, referrals, and opportunities.
What to Expect as a Member
VIP is built on consistency and trust. As a member, you become a familiar face in a community that meets every month — and that consistency is what turns first introductions into lasting professional relationships. Over time, fellow members get to know your work, refer business your way with confidence, and think of you whenever someone in their network needs what you offer.
